Why?

When I get things done, I have an inexplicable urge to inform the world. I am proud of myself, and I want others to be proud of me too.

Also, when I have something unpleasant to do, I can be motivated just knowing that someone might hold me accountable, or at least know whether or not I followed through.

So here it is, Saturday morning.

My successes:

-Unloaded the dishwasher and put in all dirty dishes
-Had a healthy breakfast of yogurt and granola
-Had tea

My shortcomings:

-Played The Sims 2
-Started this blog because I didn't feel like doing laundry

Just the fact that I now have to click "Publish Post" and inform the world of my shortcomings makes me want to do laundry.

My plans for today:

-Do laundry
-Shower
-Return phone messages
-Eat leftovers in fridge
-Organize "important papers" bin
-Clean out car
-See a movie with my wonderful fiance!

Update: 11:30 AM

So far today:

List - Done

-Showered
-Returned phone messages
-Cleaned out car

Not on list - Done

-Scrubbed windshield to try to get the squeakiness out
-Scrubbed inside of windshield to try to get the stickiness off
-Organized bakeware and tupperware. Threw away lids that didn't have containers and unnecessary containers without lids

In Process

-Laundry
-Organize "important papers" bin
-Eat leftovers in fridge

I am doing awesome today!

Update: 6:09 PM

Everything on my list is DONE!

In addition, I swept all the hard floors in the house! Joe's coming over in a few minutes and we'll have dinner (baked potatoes with cheese and sour cream, chili con carne, broccoli) and see a movie! Yay!

Tomorrow...will be less productive. Pre-marital counseling, followed by church, followed by Chrissy's bridal shower...probably followed by more hanging out with Joe since we haven't had a day to spend together in a while.

Anyway, I rock. Today, at least.
